5 Precision Rifles from SHOT Show 2017

Advances in firearms technology have made rifles more accurate than ever before, and gunmakers are rolling out new precision rifles that show off long reach. Equipped with stocks that allow pinpoint adjustments, rail systems for accessory mounting, newer punch-packing calibers and more, the lineup at this year’s SHOT Show is encouraging for long-range marksmen looking for a pinpoint new rig.

Weatherby Modular Chassis Rifle

Weatherby’s Modular Chassis Rifle is based on their proven Vanguard action. The rifle features a CNC-machined 6061 aluminum chassis, wrapped in an attractive black hard-anodized finish. The chassis features M-LOK accessory rail slots and a bipod stud. Boasting an adjustable two-stage match trigger, this Modular Chassis Rifle is guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot sub-MOA group with premium ammo. The rifle is available chambered in .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor and .223 Remington.

Bergara B14 BMP Chassis Rifle

The new B14 Bergara Match Precision Chassis Rifle is a versatile new precision rifle that fits in on the range, in the field and in competition. With a 7075 T6 aluminum chassis replete with QD points and M-LOK slots, the BMP is light, but strong. The BMP uses a quick-change barrel nut so shooters can easily swap barrels, and an AR-style grip for familiar and ambidextrous ergonomics. The magazine well can be used as a support brace when shooting supported. The trigger is Bergara’s B14-series adjustable model. The BMP is available in .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor, all feeding from AICS-style magazines.
